Day 352
I was asked how the plaques on my last post were made. The plaques are a porcelain plaque that I purchased from Hobby Lobby. They are small, about 4x6. I scanned the plaque, saved it, and then imported it into KNK Studio. I then used it as a template so that I was sure that the text would fit. I cut the text from vinyl, weeded it, and transferred it to the plaque using transfer tape. You need to find a font that is bold because otherwise the weeding is difficult with such tiny letters.

Day 351
When my niece lost her baby she had this on her Facebook page...
Sometimes miracles arrive so tiny
that we cannot feel the weight of them-
And yet we are still changed,
and we are blessed none the less...
I made them each a plaque so that they would have something to commemorate their little ones.

Day 350
Today we had a joint Birthday Party for my Grandson and 2 great nephews and a great niece. It was held at Bay Beach, which is an amusement Park that still has rides for 25 cents. Being right on the water it was cold even though it was suppose to be 80. All 11 of my mom's great grandkids were there ranging in age from 13 to 2 months! And 6 out of 7 of my siblings were there. This doesn't happen real often so it was extra nice.

Day 349
The play ball on the white is a freebie file from http://www.quillingpatch.com/, the play ball on the red bag is from Carrie at http://www.paperthreads.com/, the All Star was designed by me in KNK Studio, and the Milwaukee Brewer's logo is a free vector file from http://www.freelogovector.com/logo-vectors-N-page4.php. You just download the file and then import it into KNK. It is then ready to cut. All of the bags are made with a combination of vinyl and coredinations paper. The bags themselves were 2/$1 at the dollar tree.

Day 344
Isn't he the cutest little guy? I cut him from vinyl for a card and decided to cut another to put above the window in my room. He just cheers me up!

Day 343
I saw a card similar to this in the Papercrafts Magazine. I used my black leather look contact paper for the letters. I applied it to cardstock and then cut it, just to give it a bit of depth. The ribbon and rhinestones were just added touches.

Day 342
My Grandson will be 4 in less than a month...so hard to believe! With in 2 weeks of his birthday 3 cousins also have birthdays so the mom's decided to do a joint birthday party for the family and I got to make the gift bags. They are having a garden them and wanted bugs and such. Here is what I came up with, all bags used My Scrap Chick files. I thought they turned out cute. :O_

Day 341
Another card using the black leather look Contact paper for the background. I attached a ribbon and a purchased Daisy. The daisy is from K&Company and was on sale at WalMart. This is a card you could make with out any equipment other than a scissors and glue.

Day 339
This card was made using the Stampin Up Sizzix Rose embossing folder and Coredinations paper. I embossed it and sanded the embossing. The " With Sympathy" is white vinyl. The picture doesn't do the card justice.

Day 338
This card was made using the free file from My Scrap Chick. I think it is available until Monday. I cut the card using coredinations paper that was textured black on one side and white on the other. I used white Gemstones paper for the pockets and handkerchief. The buttons are white vinyl. What a sweet, simple card just in time for Father's Day.

Day 337
Today my husband and the carpenters put the steel on the roof. My husband wants to do as much as he can by himself but with the roof being 20 feet high I didn't want him doing it. The few times I looked out and saw the carpenters standing on the roof I wanted to yell at them "You get down from there right now." :O)
The card is the Anniversary card I made for my husband. On Monday we celebrated our 36th anniversary. Celebrated might be too strong, we stayed home and had tuna sandwiches. :O) The card is just vinyl letters on scrapbook paper.

Day 336
Three different cards from the same file. Judy, from our KNK group is famous for her cupcake holders. But she now has made files using the Cuttlebug Borders. All 3 cards are using Judy's Tall flower file. The first is just the card cut from yellow coredinations and embossed with the Cuttlebug tall flower folder. I sanded the flowers, cut Happy Birthday from white vinyl, and added a ribbon. The pink card was cut with the KNK, embossed with the tall flowers and divine swirl, and then I used my cutter bug piercing bugs to make the dotted line next to the flowers. I looked all over for the cutterbee piercing bugs and couldn't find them. My friend Colleen surprised me and sent me a set. WooHoo, thanks Colleen!! The third card was cut from the same paper as the first and then I cut just the flower part of Judy's file and embossed it on Gemstones White paper. The flowers are gorgeous! The Happy Birthday is again vinyl.

Day 334
We have had rain the past week or so and should have warm weather at the end of the week. The garden is doing so well. In WI we talk about the corn being knee high by the fourth of July. This year it was knee high by the 4th of June in some areas.
