Day 581

This card was made using a digital stamp called Nurse Gillian from Prairie Fairie Designs.. I haven't gotten into Copics so it is colored with watercolor pencils. She was fun to do! The Get Well Soon was printed.

Day 580

This is a simple black and white wedding card. The file is from Ginny's Happy Cuts at Paperthreads.
I used black textured paper and the white is vinyl.

Day 579

Another  My Scrap Chick file. I decided to make a few more Easter treat boxes. I made bunnies for all of the little ones & the Panda for my niece who is old enough to be going for her doctorate but loves Pandas.

Day 578

Today is Professional Administrator's Day. My daughter asked me to make boxes for a dozen people at  her workplace. There were 11 women and one man. So I made 11 butterfly boxes and one penguin. :O) Apparently the one guy likes black. I think all of the files were from  My Scrap Chick.

Day 577

This is another card parts card. I think that the baby head started out as a cricut file. I added a pink bow to make it a girl. :O)
The white is embossed with a Cuttlebug hearts folder. The pink rectangle is embossed with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dot folder and the Congrats is cut from vinyl using my Klic n Kut.
There is nothing that makes me happier than making things for babies and children. :O)

Day 576

I love this goose! The file is from and old Anne Lang Paper piecing book and I converted it to a KNK file. The card on the left was embossed with a Cuttlebug heart embossing folder and the Happy Birthday was cut from vinyl and applied.

Day 575 Happy Easter

Happy Easter. This bunny is from a My Scrap Chick Easter collection. On the inside it says "Hoppy Easter".

Saturday, April 23, 2011

Day 574

This was a free file from My Scrap Chick. They are adorable little treat baskets. I made a batch for the little ones who will be at our Easter get together.

Friday, April 22, 2011

Day 573

This card was made with a Quickutz embossing file. I used a pink pastel on the raised portion just to give it a hint of color. The With Sympathy is cut from vinyl.

Thursday, April 21, 2011

Day 572

Pretty much the same as yesterday, just another girl  from the font. I cut these a long time ago and they were in my card parts.

Wednesday, April 20, 2011

Day 571

The girl on this card was cut from vinyl using a font. I really don't remember the name of the font but it was all silhouettes in formalware. A very simple card!

Tuesday, April 19, 2011

Day 570

The same card as yesterday but with the paper put in the right way and a different butterfly. :O)

Monday, April 18, 2011

Day 569

This card was made using  a frame embossing folder and it was debossed...that is when you put the paper in the wrong way. :O) The butterfly is a silhouette cut from vinyl.

Sunday, April 17, 2011

Day 568

This card was made using a fiskars texture plate for the embossing. The Thank you was printed on white card stcok and then matted with the same blue paper as the mat behind the white embossed paper. Pretty simple!

Day 567

This is another card from Shelly at Paper and Flowers. It is a free file that she has up, for how long I am not sure. Her card looks very different from mine, I think it could be made 100 different ways. I used three Cuttlebug border files and sanded them. Then I added rhinestones.

Day 566

Isn't this card sweet. It is another file from Shelly at Paper and Flowers. I did modify this a bit as it has a second swirl in the original file but I love the way this looks. I put a vinyl Happy Birthday on it but it is sweet just plain.
Happy Birthday to my friend Sue!

Day 565

No matter what I did I couldn't get this card to rotate the way that I wanted it to look. It is another card from Shelly at Paper and Flowers. I think it is a great spring card just the way it is!

Day 564

Shelly at  Paper and Flowers has some very sweet card files on her blog. I am making these for the ladies that we swim with several times a week. Most are in their 70's and 80's and they look forward to getting the cards. This was cut on my KNK using Colorbok paper from Walmart. The lettering is a file that I got somewhere along the line and is cut from vinyl.

Tuesday, April 12, 2011

Day 563

I don't stamp often but had these already stamped in my card parts. They are from a 4 season stamp set from Stampin Up. I used a water pen and paints to color them. It is always fun to color. :O)
The paper was a double sided paper so it made it easy to coordinate the stripes and solid.

Monday, April 11, 2011

Day 562

A while back I had made some Dora cards for my grandkids and great nieces and nephews.I had a few Dora's left over and used one to make a Birthday Card. The font is PC Dazzle.

Sunday, April 10, 2011

Day 561

The embossing on this card doesn't show up as nicely as it does in person. I used a cameo silhouette and cut it from vinyl. Then I used one of my Cuttlebug "frame" folders and put the cameo in the oval opening. Another black and white card!

560

This is the card that I made for Annah. I used the same cupcake file as I used on the cupcake wrappers and boxes. I ran both the top and bottom of the cupcake through the Cuttlebug using the swiss dot and heart folders.

Day 559

Here is one of the two sign's I made for the party. They are about 13 inches in diameter. The green scallop is poster paper, the rest textured paper. I will try to get a picture from Amanda of  the dessert area whith everything set up. It was pretty awesome.

Thursday, April 7, 2011

Day 558

My niece Amanda is an awesome baker. She makes beautiful cakes , cupcakes, and lots of yummy treats. Her daughter Annah turned one on March 31st and she planned an all dessert Birthday party. She asked me to make a few things for the party, woo hoo! On the left are cupcake boxes, on the right cupcake wrapppers and the scalloped circles are cupcake toppers. The party was Sunday and Amanda had everything so perfect. More pictures tomorrow.

Day 557

I can't pass up things on sale,  the problem is that I end up with things I never use. This card is made up of sale items. I bought a box of prefolded cards, and this was one of them. I used a Martha Stewart flower, also on sale to embellish it along with some ribbon. Pretty simple but I like the end result.

Day 555

I love double sided paper when I need to coordinate because it makes it so simple. I just cut nine 3/4 inch squares and glued them on a piece of blue textured paper, and then used the same paer as the squares for the background. The "Welcome Little One" is PC Dazzel font and cut from vinyl.

Sunday, April 3, 2011

Day 554

I maybe should have used this as my April Fools Day card. It is either early or late. :O) I saw this card on line. Someone had made it using cricut files...I think that is what it was. Anyhow I had to try it. The black is vinyl, the orance cardstock. It was very easy to cut, weed, and transfer.

Day 553

This owl is the same that I used for my granddaughters Birthday card, from the same Lettering Delights SVG set as the owl I posted yesterday.

Friday, April 1, 2011

Day 552

I sure have cut enough owls lately but they are so darn cute. This is from  a Lettering Delights SVG file. The paper is coredinations, the lettering vinyl.
