Day 551
A simple card. It is a bit "busy" but I used paper from a Birthday paper stack and then just added the sentiment in vinyl letters cut with my Klic n kut.

Day 550
I am in the process of making cards for my adult nieces and nephews. There are about 14 of them so it will take a while.
I used a Lettering Delights SVG file cut with my KNK to make this card.
My eldest nephew is a police officer for the Town of Grand Chute. This week, a 28 year old police officer from a neighboring city was shot and killed in the line of duty. Even in the huge storm that we had, my nephew said the streets were lined with people showing their respects as the officers body was moved to the funeral home.

Day 549
Another black and white card. I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder and then simply added a vinyl Happy Birthday. When I cut something like this Happy Birthday from vinyl, I usually cut several at a time. Then the next time you want to make a card, the words are ready to go.

Day 548
I have made this file so many times but this card is a favorite. It is a file from the KNK Christmas bonus CD. I think it was from Chris Dunham. It looks so sharp in black and white.

Day 547
Another card parts card. The thinking of you was stamped on a tag cut with my KNK. I chalked the edges and that was it. :O)

Day 546
We had one heck of a storm Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday night it was lightning and thundering like crazy, but it was also snowing and windy. It is the first time I can remember having lightning and thunder during a blizzard. Tuesday morning we had very little snow left and you could see the lawn. This picture was taken Wed. afternoon, we had 18.9 inches of snow. I had the grandkids since Tuesday and took them home today. Even the main roads were still bad.
The card was made with a Cuttlebug cut and emboss folder which was a gift from a friend. It is hard to see the great detail in the picture, but it is very elegant.

Day 545
This is another cards parts card. I had the rounded pieces cut and put them together with the striped paper and another card is made. :O)

Day 544
My sweet little granddaughter Hailey was TWO on Monday! She makes us smile everytime we see her. She loves me, but she is Grampa's girl.
This little owl is from an SVG file from Lettering Delights. The "Who's Two?" is cut from vinyl.

Day 541
Another MSC, one with Happy Easter on the inside, one on the outside. I have 2 grandkids and 10 great nieces and nephews, so they will each get a card. This year we will be adding 3 more "greats" to the family. :O)

Day 537
Lettering Delights
has all of their SVG graphics on sale for $2.00. This owl is from a set called Mulberry Lane. I cut it using my KNK and I made it into a shaped card. One of my favorite things about my KNK is that you can use at least 6 different formats of files with the KNK, you just import them. Then there are another half dozen that you can use if you trace or convert them.
I think I would smile if this sweet owl showed up in my mail box. :O)

536
Another card parts card. I had made the card part a while back and needed to add to it and then found the "good friends" saying that I had printed and it seemed like the perfect addition to the card. Another thousnad card parts cards and my desk will be clutter free. :O)

Day 535
Although I never quite accomplish it, every once in a while I try to clean off my desk top. And it is amazing how many card parts I have. The cupcake and the Happy Birthday were two card parts that I put together for this card. I put foam squares under the cupcake so it stands out a bit.

Day 534
I had bought a small stack of Birthday cardstock because I thought it would be perfect for quick Birthday cards. But it isn't! Most of the patterns are too busy to add words to but yet too plain alone. So I decided to do 3/4ths of the card the paper and leave the top plain for a vinyl Happy Birthday.

Day 532
I think I might be better off doing a Friday blog or some type of once a week thing. I hate it when a week goes by and I have nothing to post.
This card is from an old file. I think maybe Nicole came up with it, but who knows. The congrats is Words of Love font, which is a free font. I was worried with all the swirls it may be difficult to weed but it was ok. The picture doesn't do justice. The green swirl paper is all glittery.
I just finished making a bunch of things for my great niece Annah's first Birthday. Can't post pictures until after the party but it was fun. Annah's mom Amanda came up with the ideas, I just made what she asked for.

Day 531
It seems like it has been forever since I posted. It seemed like every day this week was booked solid. When I had a free minute I was doing test cuts and converting files. I bought a set of 87 svg card, they are all sweet. But I don't know what I was thinking as it is very time consuming to convert them. They first have to be converted to eps and then knk. I am up to 60.
Today's picture is from My Scrap Chick Spring Treats. It is a little folder in which you put a treat bag, I used snack sized ziplocks which I cut down to size and secured the cut end with score tape. I added Andes Mint candy. I made 20 bags for a very Irish friend to havd out on St. Patrick's Day.
