Day 90
My daughter wanted a "silly monkey" title for a page she is making for my grandson. So I made the title with my Klic n kut. Then I used my KNK to cut out the monkey by Lisa from http://preciouspiecingsbylisa.ecrater.com/. She has hundred of great cutting files that are all paper piecings. They are like putting little puzzles together and fun to make!

Day 89
I made a card! It has been a long stretch but I finally got one done.
The white was done with the cuttlebug and the swiss dot border, the ribbon is from Wright, and the Happy Birthday is a Dollar stamp from Michaels.
I was working on some scrapbook stuff for my daughter today. They turned out cute so I will post a picture tomorrow.

Day 88
Wow, it's been a whole week since my last post. It has been a busy week with visitors, berry picking, and grandkids. Today was my great nephws 2nd Birthday which marked the end of 8 days of running around.
I am hoping to have some time to play this week and hopefully will have some new cards to post in the next day or two.
Last Tuesday it was 97, tomorrow we are suppose to have a high of 67.

Day 87
Happy Father's Day! This is the card that I made for my husband, Sam. I am not thrilled with my choice of font as it seems like the A is backwards or something, but overall I like the card. The letters were cut with my Klic n Kut, which can cut any true font including ding bats! The card is in the shape of a tag and I punched holes in the top to put the ribbon through. A pretty simple card!

Day 86
Sorry I have been such a slacker with the blog lately. I have been busy, when I have had time to make cards they seem to be "bloopers". I did cut some vinyl and that was fun. I have another busy week coming up but I hope to have new pictures soon!

Day 85
This card was made using a set of $1.00 stamps. Not sure if I got them at Michaels or Joanns but thinking maybe Michaels. I have always been impressed at what a crisp image you get with the $1.00 stamps. And if you get a set that isn't crisp you just lightly sand it with fine sandpaper and it will work great! I am not thrilled about the card but happy with the stamp set. It has been one of those weeks where nothing has been turning out right, but it will change sooner or later!

Day 84
This card was made using a free file that Ileana designed for her daughter's 8th Birthday. I am not real happy with the bow...I should have left the glitter off I think. You can see Ileana's things a thttp://iscrapdesigns.blogspot.com:80/. She is a great designer!

Day 83
My computer was not co-operating yesterday when I wanted to upload this picture. After a good nights rest it allowed me to upload the picture. This card was made using a Cricut file and cutting it with my Klic n kut. The "Congratulations" was done in word and printed. I think I should have had a white border around the black as it looks more like a funeral card than a wedding card. But then for some people it is pretty much the same thing. :O)

Day 82
I am not sure how I missed yesterday, but I did.
I am watching my 2 grandchildren 2 days a week and on those 2 days it seems like there is s lot of catching up to do at home. But that is ok, those 2 little sweeties make life much nicer!
This is a simple card I made for my great
niece. It is a patterned paper for the background and the letters are cut from vinyl using my KNK.
I think personalized cards are always special!

Day 81
I made this card for my niece who is turning 16. The cupcake was cut with my KNK. I am not 100% happy with the card but it was one of those days!

Day 80
Another card cut from vinyl with my Klic n kut. I love the fact that you can use any font, come up with what ever name or saying that you want, and in whatever size you want. When you buy the pre-cut letters you never have the right letters or they are the wrong size for the project you have in mind. This way, you always have exactly what you want when you want it. And no gluing on tiny letters!

Day 78
It was a cold rainy day, perfect day to make cards or scrapbook! And I did both. I made 3 scrapbook pages today, not a lot ,but more than I made in the last 2 years!
The card I made is a flower silhouette and a scalloped oval cut with my KNK. I cut the oval with my KNK and did a cut and print for the Happy Birthday part.
I am not sure how much I like the card, but it is something different.

Day 77
Today was a fun day! Cindy, a member of the KNK group came up with her daughter Ashley and we were going to cut some things from Vinyl for her daughter's wedding. We were waiting for the fedex man to come, and he came, but no vinyl. :O( But we visited and Cindy brought along a photo album and 2 recipe books she is making for her daughter. WOW! They are really nice. She has beautiful pages, all done so nicely. They are simple but very elegant.
So with the wedding theme in mind I made this card. I love the saying. I designed the print in KNK and imported it into Word and printed it. The hearts, which are micro thin, were cut from vinyl using the KNK.

Day 75
Today I made a tile. It is an 8x10 tile that I bought at Restore for 50 cents. I saw this saying and loved it. It is going to be a gift for someone that I know who has cancer and is fighting quite the fight. The font is Lucinda Calligraphy, the flourish is from Ginny at www.paperthreads.com. This was designed and cut with my Klic n Kut.

Day 74
This is a card I made using a file from Lisa at http://www.quillingpatch.com/ This is a file that she has for sale, she also offers free files on occasion so check it out! It is hard to see, but the flower also has neat stitching around it. I used a real button in the center because I have LOTS of buttons. But the file has a button that you can cut and use in the center along with many variations of the flower. I cut it with my KNK and that was that! A cheery little card with minimal time and effort, although Lisa will tell you that on her end the file took far from minimal time and effort. She calls it the file that almost broke me. I for one and happy she stuck it out and finished the file.

Day 73
Rosemary, a member of our KNK yahoo group posted to her blog http://rosiart-rosemary.blogspot.com/ a card that she had made for her granddaughter. It was an Elmo card that she had found as an .eps file and had imported it to her KNK studio and reduced nodes. I decided to try it, this was my first attempt at trying and it worked well. My great nephew Drew will be 2 in July and LOVES Elmo.
It was more work than a Hallmark but also more personal.
Thanks Rosemary for sharing!

Day 72
My great nephew has a Birthday on the third so last night I decided I needed to get a card done if I was going to get it mailed on time. And I didn't have much free time. So this is what I came up with. I had the Mickey done. He was cut with my KNK using the Disney Cricut file. I used a red polka dot paper for the background and cut the Happy Birthday from black vinyl. I really like vinyl!
